CARP Mississauga begins monthly

CARP Mississauga Chapter ANNOUNCES our next events:

STARTING May 19th 2010… CARP Mississauga will hold monthly “community” meetings with educational & informational speakers, combining fun social activities.

May 19th Presentation: Overcoming Challenges – The Life Champion in You Speaker: Clint Cora, Karate World Champion Activity: Yoga, with a professional trainer (wear loose athletic clothes, take off your shoes, relax !!)

June 9th Presentation: Raw Food is Not Just for Rabbits Speaker: Alexi Bracey, Stoveless Cuisine Activity: Power Striding Training (wear walking shoes and bring a jacket as this is outdoors, low impact fun exercise with tools)

July 14th Presentation: Role of Nuclear Power in Ontario and Canada (a little radiation might be good for you?) Speaker: Dr. Jerry Cuttler, retired from a career at Atomic Energy Canada Activity: Spa Night (enjoy having your nails done, maybe a massage?)

LOCATION: Origin Evergreen Complex 820 Scollard Court, Mississauga

Main Building, presentation in the Theatre, followed by special areas Located on the west side of Mavis Road just north of Eglinton Ave.

TIME: 6:30pm – 9:00pm
